Opening Procedure for In-Ground Pool

Depending on the weather, ideally, you will want to begin to open your pool around the end of April while there is still a little ice on the surface. In fact, it is recommended that you open the pool as soon as possible, to prevent evaporation of the chemical products put in the pool in the autumn.

Closing Procedure for In-Ground Pool

Since closing an in-ground pool is complicated, we strongly recommend you call on Trevi's specialists for the first year to avoid any errors which could invalidate your damage warranty. A gunite pool can be closed as soon as you stop using it. Since there is no liner to protect and the pool will be emptied in the spring to be washed, it is not necessary to wait. Naturally, esthetics (green water) and safety must also be taken into consideration.

If you followed our advice when you closed your spa, opening procedures will be very simple for you. Check the general condition of your spa for the following problems: split hoses, broken valves, loose collars or clamps, ...

Closing Procedure for spas

If you choose not to make optimum use of your spa and prefer closing it for the winter, we suggest that you continue to maintain it until closing time and have a complete test of your water done in-store. Do not turn off the filtering system prior to winterizing the pool in order to protect equipment against freezing and to maintain clear water.
